Chrysalisamidst's musical inclinations were further nurtured by her family's legacy, with her grandmother working at the Community Music School of Buffalo. This connection allowed Chrysalisamidst to forge relationships with influential teachers who would later guide her artistic development. Her early experiences, from writing her first song at age 8 to exploring poetry as a coping mechanism during difficult times, laid the foundation for her multifaceted creative expression.

As Chrysalisamidst progressed through her education, she discovered a passion for electronic and dance music, expanding her musical horizons beyond the classical and choral realms. Her time at the University at Buffalo and Canisius College provided her with the technical skills and resources to hone her craft as a producer, learning to utilize digital audio workstations and integrating technology into her art.

Today, Chrysalisamidst continues to draw inspiration from Buffalo's rich history and vibrant community, weaving these elements into her latest project, The Garden of Earthly Delights.
