Rev. Dr. Martin L. King, Jr. Remembrance Celebration

The annual Diocese of Buffalo, Office of Cultural Diversity Social Justice African American Commission presented the annual Rev. Dr. Martin L. King, Jr., Remembrance Celebration. The theme was “Return To The Mountain Top”. His Excellency The Most Reverend Michael Fisher, Bishop of Buffalo was the Celebrant. Father Kareem Smith, Pastor of St. Michael The Archangel was guest Homilist. The celebration was held January 19 th at St Martin De Porres R. C. Church, 555 Northampton. Other program highlights were song services by several choirs and the presentations of the Dr. Martin L. King, Jr. Scholarships to seven recipients and the Albert Lenhard Scholarships to three recipients. A fellowship hour followed, Sister Roberta Fuller, SSMN was program chair. The photo shows: Fr.
